SECTION IV BOYS BOWLING: NV'S PRATT ROLLS HIGH SERIES AT CLASS TOURNAMENTS (2018-02-08)
Tioga County Sports ReportVESTAL - Newark Valley standout Kyle Pratt rolled the high overall series during the Section IV boys class tournaments at Midway Lanes Friday afternoon.
The senior registered a 701, matching Sidney's Ryan Cole for the top score in all classes.
Cole would also score the high game (279) while Pratt's 257 was third-highest in Class C and fifth overall behind Cole, Elmira's Nolan Storch (276), Watkins Glen's Wrett Brower (266) and Tioga's Jason Sherman (258).
Sidney would win the Class C title with a total pinfall of 2944, beating out NV's 2771 and Windsor's 2757.
Class A champ Corning had the top overall score, 3075, while Class B winner M-E rolled a 3025. Hancock shot 2912 to take Class D ahead of Tioga, which had a 2819.
Qwinten Adams rolled a 632 series to lead the Owego effort in Class B. He started out with a pair of 200 games, then wrapped it up with a 232.
Tioga's Kolton Pond shot a 246-642 for the Class D high series.
Waverly's Derrick Canfield posted a 656 series, good for third in Class C.
The girls will hold their class tournaments at Midway Lanes today.
