IAC JV GIRLS BASKETBALL: CANDOR ENDS SEASON WITH 38-28 WIN OVER EDISON (2019-02-11)
Tioga County Sports ReportCANDOR - Candor wrapped up its season with a 38-28 victory over Edison here Thursday night. The Indians outscored the Spartans in every quarter, including a 13-point outburst in the final frame.
Candor's scoring was led by Pearl Ricardo, who recorded a double-double. She put in 12 points, including two 3-pointers, and grabbed 10 rebounds. Shelby Swartz had a double-double as well with 10 points and 10 boards. She also hit two threes.
Cadriana Edwards joined the efforts on the glass with 10 rebounds of her own, and scored six points. Scoring was rounded out by Olivia Parillo and Serenity Wintermute, who had five points apiece. The duo contributed six steals each.
The JV Indians, all freshmen, finished the season with a 7-10 overall record and went 6-7 in IAC Small School play.
