STAC BOWLING: OWEGO FALLS TO MAINE-ENDWELL (2018-12-03)
Tioga County Sport ReportENDICOTT - Qwinten Adams posted a 653 series, but three different M-E bowlers rolled 600-plus series as the Spartan boys defeated Owego, 5-0, at Ideal Lanes Monday.
Adams paced the Indians with a pair of 200-plus games, registering a 235 and 226.
Garrett Seamans registered a 226-670, Liam Hadfield added a 232-647 and Noah McNeill contributed a 220-608. Braedyn Traffas added a 215 game.
The Spartans won by scores of 983-846, 1024-886 and 1017-856 and took the total pinfall, 3039-2588.
For Owego, Tyler Taft rolled a 200-539, Gabe Avery had a 168-479, and Quinton Hollister and Nathan Travis added games of 141 and 120, respectively.
GIRLSM-E won the girls match by a 5-0 score. The Spartans won 802-511, 924-628 and 779-589 and took the total pinfall, 2505-1728.
Jolene McConnell had a 277-595 and Bailey Wood had a 213-560 for the hosts.
Hayley Classen scored 168-497 for Owego and Abby Shirley contributed a 166-437. Victoria Reigle had a 125 game and Summer Elliott had a 112 game.
JVIn the boys match, Owego won the opening game, 631-608, but M-E won the next two, 642-632 and 706-649, to take the total pinfall, 1969-1899 and a 4-1 win.
Hunter Harbst led the Indians with a 168-448. William Waldron posted a 178 and Levi Stanton had a 148.
Owego had just three bowlers in the girls match in a 5-0 loss. The scores were 605-263, 514-215 and 600-250, and won the total pinfall, 1719-732.
Haley Stephens had a 259 series for the Indians, Victoria Kobylarz added a 237 and Maylee Henning had a 236.
The Indians host Johnson City at Owego Bowl Wednesday.
