TIOGA COUNTY - All 10 of the IAC's Tioga County teams begin divisional play tonight - and four of the games pit county teams against one another.

The only other action involves Tioga County bowling teams facing one another.

BOYS BASKETBALL
Candor (2-1) at Tioga (1-0), 7 p.m.:
The Tigers rallied for a 68-58 win over Deposit / Hancock in their season opener. The Indians have dominated their last two games and are averaging 61 points per game.

Newark Valley (0-1) at Waverly (0-0), 7 p.m.: The Cardinals fell to Southern Cayuga, 63-56, in their season opener.

Newfield (2-0) at S-VE (1-0), 7 p.m.: The Panthers defeated Trumansburg, 57-40, in their season opener. The Trojans, state semifinalists a year ago, are coming off a 59-47 win over Port Jefferson.

BOYS & GIRLS BOWLING
Newark Valley at Tioga, 3:30 p.m.:
The Cardinal boys were 8-0 and the girls were 1-7 going into Monday's match at Union Springs / Port Byron (no results reported at time of publication). The Tioga boys are 7-1 while the girls team is (0-8).

GIRLS BASKETBALL
Tioga (0-0) at Candor (0-1), 7 p.m.:
The Indians are coming off 45-42 loss to Class B Vernon-Verona-Sherrill.

S-VE (0-0) at Newfield (0-0), 7 p.m.: The Panthers will get an early test against a Newfield team which is expected to contend in the IAC South Small School division.

Waverly (0-0) at Newark Valley (1-0), 7 p.m.: The Cardinals opened with a 59-37 romp over Chenango Valley.
