Tioga County Sports ReportOWEGO - Sarah Emond rolled a 546 series to lead the Candor girls to a 4-0 sweep of Odessa-Montour at Owego Bowl Thursday. O-M would win the boys match, 3-1.
GIRLSEmond had a high of 208 in the final game, which followed games of 180 and 158. Alexis Karabec contributed a 159-442, Kaitlyn Johnston scored a 151-431, Mya Marsh pitched in with a 158-415, Stacy Emond added a 158-380 and Olivia Bennett registered a 141-378.
Candor won by scores of 770-578, 688-674 and 793-690, also taking the total pinfall, 2251-1941.
O-M was led by Jackie Vincent's 222-536.
BOYSO-M won, 741-656, in game one and 720-627 in game three while Candor took game two, 735-659. The visitors won the total pinfall, 2120-2018.
Eric Rumsey registered a 238-616 for Odessa.
Matt Fitch posted a 186-432 for Candor. Devin Benesh chipped in with a 155-415, Garrett Lindhorst shot a 151-412, Ethan Howe had a 137-380, Carson Howe posted a 130-356 and Storm Andrews added a 120-313.
John Seidel had a 141-353 while bowling exhibition.
Candor travels to Groton Tuesday.
