YOUTH CHEERLEADING: SVEYA WINS AT HORSEHEADS COMPETITION (2023-10-15)

HORSEHEADS — The Spencer-Van Etten Youth Association cheerleaders competed in the Horseheads Rowdy Raider Spirit Challenge Saturday and came home with a couple of wins.

The SVEYA Panther Cubs (K-3rd grade) won the Youth 1 division and the SVEYA Panther Pack (4th-8th grade) won the Youth 4 division.

The SVEC Modified and Varsity cheerleading squads teamed together to put on an exhibition performance.

Teams from the Triple Cities, Horseheads, Corning and western New York also participated.
