TIOGA COUNTY — It’s another 40-event week for local athletic teams, but the weather should be cooperative, according to weather.com.

Of the 40 events currently on the docket, 17 will be contested at home venues. Following is a schedule of those events.

MONDAY
Owego hosts Chenango Forks in baseball and Elmira Notre Dame in boys lacrosse.

TUESDAY
Candor hosts Newark Valley in boys golf at the Catatonk Golf Club.

Newark Valley will host Dryden in track & field.

Owego track & field holds its home opener against Seton Catholic.

Spencer-Van Etten hosts a multi-team meet.

WEDNESDAY
SVEC hosts Trumansburg in baseball and softball.

Newark Valley hosts Seton Catholic in baseball and softball.

Newark Valley hosts Dryden in boys golf.

Owego hosts Waverly in boys tennis.

Owego boys lacrosse hosts Union-Endicott.

THURSDAY
There are no local events on the schedule.

FRIDAY
Newark Valley hosts Dryden in baseball.

Owego hosts Chenango Forks in baseball and Oneonta in boys lacrosse.

SATURDAY
