BERKSHIRE — Dryden’s Ben Wojcik and Dan Murphy shared medalist honors as the Purple Lions defeated Newark Valley, 177-239, at Grandview Farms Golf Course Wednesday.

The duo posted 43s as five Lions broke 50. Damon Dowd shot a 44 and Collin Weik rounded out the team scoring with a 47.

The youthful Cardinals were led by Isaiah Keith with a 53. Brady Woods recorded a 55, Chandler Baker added a 65 and Troy Blomberg had a 66.

Non-scoring golfers were NV’s Oliver Ferguson with 68 and Keagan Morhman with a 70, and Dryden’s Brennan Poole (49) and Chris Parker (53).

NV (1-5) hits the road Thursday to face Trumansburg (4-1).
